Global SME Ministerial Meeting

The first Global SME Ministerial Meeting, organized by the International Trade Centre (ITC), took place in Johannesburg, South Africa, from 22 to 24 July 2025. The event focused on key areas for SME growth, including access to finance, digitalization, and the green transition.

İMMİB took part in the event with a panel organized within the Business and Innovation Space. Moderated by İMMİB Deputy Secretary General Aydın Yılmaz, our panel titled “Strengthening Digital Trade through E-Export Consortia: The Case of Türkiye” brought together distinguished representatives from the sector. The panelists discussed key topics such as the development of e-export in Türkiye, the consortium model, government support mechanisms, and Türkiye's competitive position in digital trade.
